And I’m not sure if it’s a good thing or not but I also have noticed that prices for many Commodore items are starting to increase in value. As with most things on eBay, I see the prices fluctuate quite frequently. I was then able to sell the motherboard for $25 and for some unknown reason, the empty shell sold for over $80! Needless to say, I ended up with all of the parts I needed for free, a few spare chips, plus money in my pocket. The computer worked just fine, so I pulled all of the chips and keyboard out. I paid $50 for the computer with no power supply or any other accessories. While I generally prefer to keep a working computer fully assembled and sold as an entire package, lately it seems to be more monetarily beneficial to piece it out.įor instance, I recently picked up a lone Commodore 64 breadbin computer locally in order to steal the chips I needed for my new Commodore 64 Reloaded MK2 motherboard. Hey all! So, like the title states, I’m looking for some advice on the best way to sell a couple of Commodore 64 units and accessories.
